His research interests lie in task-based language teaching and L3 learning motivation. Dr Bui was a recipient of the HSU Teaching Excellence Awards and the principal investigator of two RGC grants. He is also Co-Editor of the Asian Journal of English Language Teaching and President of the Hong Kong Association for Applied Linguistics.
