Abstract
- Based on the theory person -- occupation fit, we proposed and tested a model of antecedents of entrepreneurial career commitment and entrepreneurial career satisfaction. A sample of entrepreneurs and small business owners in Hong Kong (n = 123) was analyzed. The results of hierarchical multiple regression indicated that entrepreneurial career satisfaction and intrinsic motivation were significant predictors of entrepreneurial career commitment, while intrinsic motivation and sociability emerged as significant determinants of entrepreneurial career satisfaction.
